What Is a 3D Printed Articulated Dragon?
An articulated dragon is a 3D printed dragon where the body, tail and sometimes wings are made up of individual connected segments that move independently. Unlike a static dragon figure, an articulated dragon flexes, poses and responds to touch.
The clever part is that the joints are printed in place. There is no assembly, no glue and no snapping pieces together. The dragon comes off the print bed in one piece, already able to move.
