Fidget Slider
Get to know your Fidget Slider
Your colours, your texture, your slider
Two colours, two textures, endless quiet fidgeting. Build a slider that looks the way you want and feels the way your hands actually like.

A Daily Companion
Most people find having a slider in their pocket helps keep restless hands occupied.
Made for busy hands
A small thing that helps a lot
A slider in your pocket gives restless hands somewhere to go. People reach for ours to stay focused at work, to settle anxious moments, and to ease the urge to pick or bite when they need to redirect it.
Focus that sticks
Keep your hands busy so your mind can lock onto the task in front of you, at your desk or in class.
Calm in the noise
A quiet, repetitive motion to come back to when a moment feels too big or too loud.
Somewhere for the urge to go
Sensory input for stimming, and a gentle way to redirect the urge to pick, bite or tap.
The textured inserts
Six ways to fidget

Tap a texture to learn. Choose two the same for a matching pair, or mix and match.
The colour combo
A mirrored two-tone build
Colour 1 becomes the outer shell of one piece and the insert of the other. Colour 2 flips it, so the two halves mirror each other. Pick two colours for a split look, or the same colour twice for a clean solid.

The tape upgrade
Make the glide silky
Add Glide Tape and we apply a low friction strip to one contact face before your slider ships. The motion turns smooth and near silent, gliding easily. It is the easiest way to take the feel from great to addictive, and you only need it on one piece.
Makes the slide quiet enough for meetings or classes.
Keeps the glide smooth through years of constant use.
Prefer a bit of grip and resistance? The standard glide already feels lovely on its own. The tape is for anyone chasing that frictionless slide.
Why it is worth it
Aussie family workshop
Designed and printed by our family in Lake Macquarie, NSW.
Made to order in PLA
Printed fresh for your order in plant based PLA, nothing sitting in a warehouse.
Hand finished and checked
Every slider is assembled, tuned and inspected by hand before it ships.

Frequently Asked
How do I use it?
Hold the slider in one hand and push the two halves past each other with your thumb. The magnets pull the pieces into place, you feel a soft catch at each end, and it resets ready for the next slide. Most people fall into a slow back and forth without thinking about it.
There is no right way to do it. Some slide it fast for a busy, clicky rhythm, others move it slow and press a thumb into the texture for something more grounding. Try it open in your palm, or pinched between thumb and finger, and see what your hands settle into.
It works one handed under a desk, in a pocket, or in your lap during a meeting or class. No batteries, no app, no setup. Pick it up and go.
What is the Glide Tape upgrade?
Glide Tape is a thin, low friction strip we apply to one contact face before your slider ships. It drops the resistance between the two halves, so the motion turns smooth and near silent and keeps going with the lightest push.
You only need it on one piece, not both. We line it up and apply it by hand as part of finishing your order, so it arrives ready to use with nothing for you to fit.
If you like a bit of natural grip and resistance, the standard glide already feels lovely on its own. The tape is for anyone chasing that fast, frictionless slide. It is a small add on that makes a big difference to the feel.
What is it made from and how big is it?
Each slider is two interlocking pieces printed in PLA, a plant based plastic made from renewable sources rather than oil. Small magnets are embedded inside the pieces to drive the sliding action and hold them together.
It measures roughly 55mm end to end, so it sits comfortably in a closed hand and slips into a pocket without a bulge. It is light enough to carry all day and tough enough for constant, everyday fidgeting.
We print and assemble every slider to order in your chosen colours and texture. Because each one is made fresh rather than pulled from a bin of stock, small differences between batches in shade or finish are part of the handmade character, not a fault.
How do I look after it?
Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth when it picks up dust or pocket lint. A soft toothbrush works well for getting grime out of the deeper textures like Grooved or the spiked options.
Keep it out of hot cars and away from direct sun for long stretches. PLA is sturdy in normal use but it can soften in serious heat, so a dashboard on a summer day is the one place to avoid.
Skip soaking it or running it under hot water, and there is no need for oils or lubricants on the slide. If the motion ever feels stiff, a quick wipe of the contact faces usually sorts it. Treated gently it will keep sliding for a very long time.
Is it safe for children?
This is a desk and pocket fidget for older kids, teens and adults, not a toy for little ones. It contains small magnets and small parts, so it is not suitable for children under 3 and should be kept away from anyone who might put it in their mouth.
Swallowed magnets are genuinely dangerous. If more than one is swallowed they can pinch through tissue inside the body and that is a medical emergency, so seek immediate medical attention if you ever suspect it. Please supervise younger children using it.
The magnets are also strong enough to affect sensitive electronics and medical devices like pacemakers, so keep the slider clear of those. Handled sensibly by the right age group it is a safe, satisfying everyday carry.
Sizing and what is included
Every Fidget Slider is the one pocket size, around 55mm end to end. You are choosing the colours and the texture, not a size, so the build you pick in the options above is exactly what turns up.
Your order arrives fully assembled and tuned, with the magnets set and the slide tested before it leaves us. If you added Glide Tape, it is already applied to one face.
Nothing to build, nothing to fit. Open it, give it a slide, and it is ready to go.
How long until it ships?
Every slider is made to order, so there is a short print and finishing window before it posts rather than same day dispatch. We print, assemble, tune and check each one by hand, then send it out as quickly as we can. We aim to dispatch within 1 to 3 business days.
Because it is custom, please double check your colours and texture before you add to cart, since we start making it to your spec. You will get tracking by email once it is on its way.
Need it for a birthday or a specific date? Send us a message before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.

Questions Before You Buy?
Is it quiet?
Yes. The standard slider is quiet with a slight rubbing sound during use. For a smoother, near-silent experience, add the tape upgrade.
How do I choose my colours?
Choose two colours. Colour 1 becomes the outer shell of one piece and the insert of the other. Colour 2 does the reverse, creating a mirrored two-tone design across both pieces.
Which texture should I choose?
For gentle feedback, choose Lined, Wavy Lines, Bubbles or Grooved. For a busier all-over texture, try Sprinkles. For stronger tactile input, choose Low, Medium or Super Spiked.
What does the tape upgrade do?
It reduces friction between the two pieces, making the glide smoother and the slider near-silent during use.
What is it made from?
Quality PLA, 3D printed to order and hand-finished for smooth edges.
Is it good for ADHD or sensory needs?
It is designed with ADHDers, autistic users and sensory seekers in mind. Many people find repetitive tactile movement useful for focus and grounding. It is not a medical device.
Can I use it at work or school?
Yes. It is designed to be compact and quiet. For shared spaces or quiet environments, the tape upgrade gives the most discreet experience.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking, high heat and dishwashers.
Is it suitable for children?
It contains magnets and small parts and is not suitable for young children or anyone likely to place objects in their mouth.
Is the Fidget Slider made in Australia?
Yes. Each Fidget Slider is 3D printed to order in our Lake Macquarie studio in NSW, Australia. We are a small family-operated business and each slider is made, checked and packed with care before being sent out.
How long does it take to make and send?
Fidget Sliders are made to order and we generally dispatch within 2 to 3 days from ordering. During busy periods processing times may increase slightly, but we always work to get orders out as quickly as possible.
Will it look exactly like the photos?
Your slider will be made using your selected colours, but small differences can happen between prints. Colour placement, filament batches, lighting and screen settings can all affect how the final colours appear.
